GRC Chairman Dr. Abdulaziz Sager participated in the annual symposium of the University of Leicester’s Kurdistan International Studies Unit, which brought together scholars to share and highlight research on Kurdish and Middle Eastern affairs. This year’s main topic was “the Role of the Kurds in the Middle East and beyond: Regional and International Interactions,” and session topics included “The Middle East and Geopolitics; Political Economy, Sustainability and Development; Archaeology, History, Cultural & Language Heritage; Migration, Diaspora, Social Movements; and Conflict Resolution.

As part of the Korea-GCC Economic Cooperation Forum

As part of the Korea-GCC Economic Cooperation Forum held by the Gulf Research Center and the Korea Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), GRC Chairman Abdulaziz Sager held a meeting with Dong-Geun Lee, Executive Vice Chairman of KCCI, Mr. Seho Kim, Executive Director for International Affairs at KCCI, and Mr. Lee Kang Min, Head of the Euro-American and Afro-Middle East Team at KCCI. Dr. Sager was joined in the meeting by Dr. Christian Koch, Director of the Gulf Research Center Foundation and Noriko Suzuki, Director of the GRC Foundation Asia office in Tokyo, Japan.
